The practical sessions will be oriented towards and applied during the "hands-on" site audit exercise scheduled below as Session 9

SESSION 9 - AUDIT EXERCISE - ON SITE

The final element of the course is a "hands-on" practical exercise to put into practice the theoretical lessons learned during the course. The exercise will be customised to the client's operation and will normally be conducted during a morning session, with an allowance of the afternoon period to work up the results and findings. A "wrap-up" presentation session will be conducted the following morning.

OIL SPILL CONTINGENCY PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT


The following course outline is based on a three day, theoretical training programme suitable for personnel involved in oil spill management as incident and "crisis" managers, administrators and senior managers (e.g. IMO Level 3), for supervisors and on-scene commanders (e.g. IMO Level 2) and those involved in crisis management and emergency response planning where oil spill is deemed a high risk, and personnel responsible for the development of oil spill contingency plans.
